Understanding your care starts before your appointment. Here you’ll find answers to questions about our services, what your visit entails, and how we protect your privacy.
There’s no catch. Every service, from pregnancy testing to ultrasound to consultations, is provided at no cost, and we never bill you or your insurance. We’re a nonprofit funded by people who believe you deserve answers without a price tag.
No. We don’t perform abortions or refer for them, and we’d rather tell you here than have you find out in the room. What we do offer is the medical information you need before that decision: testing, ultrasound, and honest answers about risks, all at no cost.
Your visit is confidential. We never bill insurance, so nothing appears on anyone’s statement, and we don’t share your information with your school, your family, or anyone else without your consent. What you tell us stays with our staff.
Ultrasounds are provided after a positive pregnancy test administered at our clinic, so your first appointment starts with a test. Whether an ultrasound can be performed, and when, depends on your results and how far along you are. Our medical staff will walk you through your timing at that first visit.
Because three things change what happens next: how far along you are, whether the pregnancy is in your uterus, and whether you’re still pregnant at all. The abortion pill is FDA-approved through 10 weeks, doesn’t treat an ectopic pregnancy, and an estimated 10 to 20 percent of known pregnancies end in miscarriage on their own. One no-cost visit gives you all three answers before you take anything.
Our medical services are provided by licensed nurses under the direction of a nurse practitioner, and a trained patient advocate will meet with you to listen and answer questions. We don’t have counselors on staff, and we’ll never present anyone as something they’re not.
Yes, bring your partner, a friend, or anyone who helps you feel at ease. Parts of your visit with our medical staff will be one on one, which protects you and every patient we see. If your partner comes along, our men’s advocate is available to meet with him during that time.
